Grow or Die: How an EOS Implementer Should Support You

An EOS implementer can step in and clear your path so that you can keep doing what you’re good at and enjoy and live life by design.

Sometimes, you don’t know where to find the help you need when you’re in the thick of managing everything. Maybe you don’t even know that what you need exists. This holds true for both life and business.

As an Entrepreneur Operating System (EOS) implementer, I often meet successful business owners who are having difficulty “leveling up” — and it’s not due to a lack of talent or ambition. It’s often logistics that become the wrench stuck in the gears or they get bogged down by the subjective and/or narrowly-focused view that was required to start a new business in the first place.

Everyone has a “sweet spot” or specialty; an EOS implementer can step in and clear your path so that you can keep doing what you’re good at, just more efficiently.

What I Do

EOS implementer is the kind of job title that usually earns a blank stare when I introduce my line of work. That blank stare becomes an eager spark of interest when I explain what I do and how it benefits businesses.

Basically, I empower entrepreneurs to live life by design, so they can create the business they want. I help them discover their passion, and I put them on the path of living their “why” in a practical way.

Because business isn’t about what you do, it’s about why you do it. And once you figure out the why, the how happens from there.

As an EOS implementer, I collaborate with entrepreneurs to help them free up time and create systems of communication and accountability in their company so they can escape the drudgery of how to do things and focus on the inherent magic of their “why.”

You may need an EOS implementer if you are:

  • An entrepreneur who does too much in their business; perhaps you already have a team and are struggling to get your staff aligned and communicating effectively.
  • An entrepreneurial partnership or someone working with a COO who needs to find a way to coordinate their efforts into a united vision.
  • An entrepreneur who feels stuck, uninspired, or has reached a personal plateau.

At Its Core

Just as all businesses are unique, so are EOS implementers. As an EOS implementer who is determined to make an impact, I do the following:

Share vulnerably: As Brene Brown says, “In order for the connection to happen, we have to allow ourselves to be seen, really seen.” It’s important to have the courage to turn good and bad events into vivid, exciting stories that help people connect and learn.

Spot individuality: There are subtle differences in each individual and that diversity is something to celebrate. It’s important to identify and acknowledge each person’s unique potential and talent and help them capitalize on that.

Spark action: Creating motion and momentum in others helps transform innovative ideas into immediate action. Perfection is the enemy of “done.” As Kim Harrison says, “Make it bad, then make it better.” Let’s get going!

Spread Passion: Enthusiasm is contagious and helps get people to focus on positive outcomes. I consistently seek to translate my feelings into specific, tangible, personal expressions of gratitude and recognition.

It’s also essential that your EOS implementer be:

  • Available and accessible: You need more than someone who just shows up at quarterly meetings – you need an ally you can count on.
  • Experienced as both an EOS implementer and an entrepreneur: Anyone with training can talk the talk, but have they walked the walk? Find someone who has been on a journey that mirrors yours. Growth comes from experience.
  • Equipped with a broad base of related knowledge: Some EOS implementers fall into a very niche market. Check references to ensure that their base of business is broad enough to align with what you do.

Taking my clients to the next level is my sweet spot – believing in my experience, ability, and track record enables me to make a positive difference in businesses, and lives, with confidence. I assess situations, staffs, possibilities, and potential to help you put a plan in place that works. That way, you can get back to doing your best work.
